We are now offering a bespoke Children's Portrait service.

Here are a selection of baby/childrens portraits recently commissioned.

The portrait makes a beautiful gift to a new parent or a lovely way to celebrate a memory.

If you would like to enquire about getting a Baby or Child's portrait you can either place your order direct here and then we will email you to request photographs for us to reference or get in touch with any questions via email (ros@ros-shiers.com) and we will go from there.

What we will need:

Good quality, detailed favourite photo/s of your baby or child for us to reference. These ideally need to focus on a close up of the head and shoulders.

The bespoke portrait service:

Once we have received your photo/s we will study them, decide which one we feel will make the best portrait (if there is more than one) in our signature style, email you which photograph we intend to reference so you are completely happy. We will draw the portrait, which will then be scanned into the computer with the colour/tone checked and tweaked. Once finished we will send you a proof of your portrait via email for you to have a look at and approve before going to print.

The bespoke portrait size is 30 x 40 cm (which fits in a standard off the shelf frame, we recommend ideally a white frame or a light wooden frame, so that the image pops out and not the frame.)

It is printed on Matte White Acid Free Cartridge paper, 220 gsm and signed on the back.

The portrait is carefully wrapped in a protective cellophane sleeve, tissue paper and packaged in a strong cardboard envelope and sent via 1st class Recorded delivery.

Depending on time of year this service can be completed in between 7-14 days, however if you need something urgently do email us and we will do our very best to accommodate you. Once you have placed your order we will give you a more accurate timeframe.
